hello againlook what the river coughed upIt all started by cleaning the algae out of the engine. Then there was the scrubbing of the upholstery, the yellow spores being pulled out of the nicks in the dashboard. The removal of the vegetation from the wheel wells. The painstaking, ritualized cleaning of the front grille--the umlauts let us know that it was German, or Germanic. We cleaned it all day, every day, for the entire month of June. We pushed it to a service station in Homestead and filled it up with regular unleaded.
